I recently purcased a 94 Nissan D21. The truck is a 3.0 V6. Im currently having trouble getting it to start. The previous owner said that he went to backout of his driveway and got about halfway out and it was just like the truck went dead. Wouldnt crank anymore. I figured for the thousand I got it for it was a good deal considering the 4 wheel drive in it hasnt been used and it has a brand new tranny just put in. Ive been piddling with it and found the coil in it wasnt sparking. Changed it and now have a good spark. Problem was only one plug was sparking and it was arcing. Took the distributor cap off and checked the rotor and sure enough the rotor is turning at all on start up. Im not sure what the problem is unless it the timing belt that has broke? If it did do you beleive I will need a new valve job on the truck? Any info is greatly appreciated.
