Sounds like the starter gave out coinsidentaly after you installed the amp. Disconnect the amp power wire from the battery and try starting the car. Listen for a crank noise wich is the starter. If you can hear a crank then the starter is good. You sure the battery is fully charged? Did you install a fuse between the battery and the amp
