Hello everyone,

Just bought a used 1999 Maxima GLE today! Unfortunately, it didn't come with an owner's manual, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to program the garage link buttons on the driver's visor, so that I wouldn't need to lug around my garage opener. Anyone know if this was standard on GLEs or an option? Also, if the previous owner has been using the cheapest gas up to this point (33,000 miles), should I just continue to do the same (I know Nissan recommends premium fuel).

Thank you in advance!

HomeLink was standard on GLEs, IIRC.

I have the programming instructions stored somewhere... I'll go home and dig 'em up.

If you don't mind driving around with a few less HP/TQ than the engine normally is capable of, then feel free to run regular 87 octane. (and as long as it's not pinging...)
