Hello folks, glad to be here and look forward to meeting you all.
I have an '88 D21 mongrel that I've been doing some body work on for about a year, and I have a question about a part. What is the name of the thin piece of plastic that attaches to the frame adjacent to each wheel on the inside. I called my dealership and they said it was a splash shield and costs 64$! I found that part on ebay for 8$, but it doesn't look the same. It attaches with small plastic rivets, and I need all four. Anyone know for sure what this part is called and where I might could get four new ones cheaper than the dealership?
Thanks again!

its a splash shield, if its rubberish, and on the inside of the frt fenderwells and runs frt to rear in the well. attaches to the fender and hangs in front of frame facing the wheel. you could just make your own. most lube shops destroy these to get access to the oil filter.
