New radiator and thermostat.
Temp is fine but the only time there is heat is when I rev it to 2000-3000 rpms
then both heater hoses are hot. Let it come back to an idle and the heat goes away and one hose is cold. Took off the water pump and the fins are good. Blew the heater core out and it seams good. Water flows freely and it flows good and hot at high idle?
Anyone with any ideas.

Thermostat not functioning properly. If you installed an aftermarket thermostat, replace it with a Nissan OEM unit.

I would have to say not. Can you explane the correct way and also I take it that this is a critical thing on this engine.

Take the radiator cap off and run the engine until it gets hot. Kepp the level topped off and kepp doing it until you don't see any more air bubbles coming out.

The correct way of bleeding it is to engage the parking brake, wheel chock the rear tires and lift the front end of the car atleast 2 feet off the ground.

This procedure will bleed the cooling system correctly cause air bubbles will wanna travel upwards. Squeeze all of the coolant hoses to help the bubbles find their way out...good luck!
