I watched him here in BC, he did an amazing job when our starter went down. He was electrifying and tossed some amazing passes. If he continues to develope and eases into the NFL system, he could be a cornerstone franchise-type player.TSN said:"With Printers, the CFL's outstanding player in 2004, agreeing to a three-year deal with the Chiefs, veteran Dave Dickenson will remain as the Lions starter.
TSN has learned that the three-year deal will pay Printers $1.03-million, with a signing bonus in excess of $100,000."
...
"Printers spent three seasons with the Lions. He was named the CFL's top player in 2004 when he took over for the injured Dickenson and threw for 5,088 yards and 36 touchdowns with just 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 469 yards and nine touchdowns.
But the seeds of Printers' discontent may have been sown that season when Printers was forced to watch from the sidelines as Dickenson went the distance in the Lions' 27-19 Grey Cup loss to the Toronto Argonauts in Ottawa."
Keep an eye on him.
