I have a headlamp motor on my 86 300zx that will not go down. I thought I would be able to swap out the same motor on my 88 to the 86, HOWEVER, the 86 is a 7 prong plug and the 88 is a 6 prong.
I have looked at ordering a new one at the cost of approx. $140, but it appears they have 6 prongs too.
What is that 7th prong for? Can I do without it and rewire the sucker as a 6 prong?
Any suggestions?
