Hi friends, I have a question and I would like you to maybee help me...

Recently I installed in my 1994 sentra E a header. The header is custom made, because it is difficult to find one in a store. The problem is that since I installed the header, the CHECK ENGINE bulb is on. The car runs great, but that bulb is on. Also, I have the question if is normal that the header temperature raises so high.

I would like your help......

I bet something happened to your O2 sensor that that's why your check engine light is on. Where on the header did you have them put the O2 hole? It should be further down on the header I'd think, where the pipes combine.

Does Puerto Rico have the same emissions requirements as the States? If so, you probably do have an O2 sensor issue. You'll have to get at the ECU to get the code that tripped the Check Engine light.
