Search by user and look for a post by sethwas, he posted a thread that had pics. of all the factory grounds.
wes, am i able to get negative ground wires from lets...radioshack for example to install like the hyper ground wires? plus what gauge do you need to get the wires?
The smaller - number wise - the gauge, the better... I think most people have used 4AWG or maybe even 2AWG on their grounding kits.
so am i able to get a set 4awg from radioshack or some other sort of store?
Radioshack should have them, but as in a complete ground wire set? No.. but you should be able to find wire there that you can use if you wanted to make yourself a kit.. but if you're not building a kit, and just replacing old corroded wire, then Radioshack should be good.
toolAPCfan has them. PM him. It is a 4AGW set with rings already installed on the wires.
I thought he stopped making them after the first group buy?
exactly, i would like to make my own kit. i heard that 8 guage will be good also because its smaller. i know that copper is pretty good also. ok so far with this customized kit im making, what will be grounding points for the wires.
for example "intake manifold grounding to strut" lets say

Honestly you should search for the post by sethwas. it point out the factory grounds. You can also look at NPM as they have installed a ground kit on Project 1.6 turbo.
yea i liked that setup they did on project 1.6 turbo. definetly check it out and exam it. sethwas post is kind of hard to find though, so i emailed him.
the setup they did on project 1.6 was this.....Our connection points were chassis to negative battery post, battery post to manifold, to tranny/block, to intake manifold, then to the opposite side of the chassis or strut tower.
For future reference, check group buys and Member Classifieds if you need to buy anything for your car. You wont always find what you need, but theres a good chance that you will.

first read the article in NPM about mikes car and his ground kit install. he has all the grounds listed ( the major grounds, seths thread has EVERY ground in it)

go here and pick out the wire of your choice i will personaly be getting the 25' spool x2 of clear as i will be relocating my battery to my trunk and re ground all stock grounds and adding a "ground kit"

while you are on that site do a search for "solderless terminals" then find "terminals ring" ......those are the ones rob (tool apc fan) uses. i have talked with him before and he is very helpful. his kits are still alittle better as he uses much higher quality wire but that should be just fine for you. the ground kit should be layed out in a daisy chain formation, meaning every ring terminal should touch another ring terminal.
ok so far i read what sethwas posted about the grounding points. he did this on a maxima.

battery terminal> driver side chasis> tranny> intake manifold> block> passenger side of chasis.

is this the setup that i could use?
