Thats about 17.8 in the 1/4th mile... :(

im hoping on getting my car out to the track by the next midnight mayhem to see what im running, wish me luck, oh and quick question what rpm do you guys launch at?

Air Intake: Custom made intake pipe (Beyond MotorWorks - AKLD,NZ) with POD Filter.
Petrol Choice : Mobil 98' Octane (Don't know if it really helps - just a peace of mind I guess)
Reaction Time: .253
60ft' : 2.501
1/8 mile : 10.948 secs
1/8 speed : 102.20 km/hr
1/4 mile : 17.155 secs
1/4 mile speed : 127.07 km/hr

GOAL TIME : Anything under 16.5 before end of season.

This has been my trusting and reliable every day go to work car, nothing but 1 flat tyre and an oil leak that was quickly fixed for the last 5 years. If the motor goes, another GA16DE will happily take its place.
1/4 mile time can be improved by not changing into 4th gear with 20 metres to go on the damn strip stupid I know! 3rd gear can easily handle 145 km/hr. Next race day 16th November 2007 NightSpeed DragWars Meremere will post next times. The 1/4 mile time prior to this one posted was a 17.366 with a .145 reaction time I can't change gears for [email protected]#$ so might look at getting Short Shifter Kit.

Hoping for 16.9 and dream goal is 16.5:)

On a GA like this you need to launch at about 4500ish and pretty much dump the clutch. Swap back to 14" stock wheels and do not drive through the water box, do a small dry spin of the tires to clean them off. You should be able to get your 60' down to 2.2 and rum high 16's.

Nice, I'll keep that in mind for next season. Stock wheels are actually 13" that currently have Nokian Hakkapeliitta winter tires on them. I'm thinking of getting a set of steelies with some good sport tires if I plan to hit the 1/4 mile a lot next year. Suggestions? Thanks.

need comp., custom intake , valves and springs, forged pistons, arp rod bolts and then i might be able to push it hard? And i launch with the nos on a auto trans! trying to be different.buildind a stronger auto now with a higher stall, went through 3 trans already!

New update. Stayed with 20 degrees timing and open downpipe. It is odd I picked up down low a little and lost a little on the topend. I think it is because I need a new set of plugs. I think with the new plugs and maybe a little more timing I can go low 11.20/high 11.1 in the 1.8th mile.

I have a 98 200sx
mods
-stillen high flow headers
-2.25" cat back exh.
-stock intake with open filter
-quick shift short shifter
-lowered 2"
-17" enkeis

i wanna take it to the track but idk if i should put the stock 14" rims with shitty tires on it or not. im hoping o get into te 16's but im not sure if its possible.

finally went to the 1/4

track was Orlando Speed World.

I think the temperature was upper 60s with quite a bit of humidity.

4 door 92 sentra XE, GA16DE with 326,200 miles on it. AUTOMATIC

mods: OBX header and bolt on muffler.

60' was 2.50
1/8th was 11.30 @ 61.56
1/4 was 17.801 @ 74.76

For some reason I lost .15 in the 1/8th from the previous weekend at home. Car will go 17.6 next time out. I am haveing some tranny issues again with it. I hope it is just another governor gear. It wont shift into 3rd or overdrive. So I was finishing the 1/4 on the revlimiter in 2nd for around 80 feet. with 3rd it would have gone 77+ according to what the drag race computer analyzer said. Got to love those what ifs.
