You can also convert the stock navigation to play DVD movies if you want but the cost is still high for the unit and it will requires splicing/tapping into wires. Keep in mind that you will still have to take the dash apart for either route. Maybe you should look into having someone else do the install if this scares you. Not trying to knock on you but if a few hundred dollars is gonna keep you from buying a $30K+ vehicle then maybe you should save up until it won't matter. We all have to start somewhere so new things are somtimes scary the first time around but become second nature after some experience.
