I have just replaced the headgasket on my 88 GA15E Pulsar and found the front main bearing is leaking like a mo fo. As in drip drip drip all gone in 30 minutes of driving.

Can anyone advise me on what is required to replace the main bearing/seal? Is there an external seal at all or is it just a bearing?
Do I need to completely dismantle the engine down to the block, or can it be done with a simple replacement of a seal from outside of the engine?

thanks for the info. the crankshaft bolt was an absolute bastard to remove, but once that and the pulley was pulled it was a piece of piss to change the $8 seal. cheers!
