thanks. they're just NGK OEM replacement wires. they're good enough for now, as NAPA didn't have any 8.5's in stock. set me back $75. you'll pay less in the states.

I have to pick myself up some of those...
I'm working on my engine bay now while I have the front end
off. Spent all night polishing, sanding and removing little rust
spots. Started polishing my valve cover and it looks pretty
sweet.

$75.00 isn't bad...especially when blue = more horsepower. Hah.

awesome. pick up some dupli-color engine enamel paint. looks as good as a powder coated finish without all the baking and crap. and it costs like $5 a can hahaha. i'll be going to a blue color once i paint the whole car.

When you painted your valve cover, did you change your gasket
or just pull, paint, and re-install?

Yeah, I want to get some duplicolor and go crazy with it.

my gasket looked to be in really good shape, so i just cleaned off the open surface of the head, greased it up, and put it back on without changing the gasket, and i've had no issues.

check your gasket, and if you're worried, replace it. but make sure to check for leaks after 100 miles, and after adding oil.

Right on. Thanks.

I think I'm also going to switch the Phillips Head screws that hold
it on to an allen wrench bolt. Just seems a little more up-to-date.

What did you grease her up with?
