I have a 1995 pathfinder SE and the waterpump went out so me and my dad preceded to replace the water pump not realizing how big of a project it is when we realized the water pump was behind the timing belt we went ahead and replaced that to when we reinstalled the water pump, timing belt, timing belt housing and the harmonic dampner but after tighting the harmonic dampner bolt to the proper torque, then we tried to turn the engine by hand it wouldn't turn at all. If anybody has any ideas on why it would do that it would be greatly apreciated espacially since this is our primary vehicle.

Are you positive that the belt is timed properly? If out-of-sync piston to valve contact could be stopping your turning it. Be absolutely sure the timing belt is on correctly.
