Not necessarily. The GA block is full iron... while the SR is half iron, half aluminum. Not sure about the QR block, but I assume it is half/half as well.

GA=Aluminum Head & Iron Block.

I stand corrected... thx for the info, Carbon. Now I am starting to wonder. This link right HERE states that the GA block is both iron and aluminum, and that the SR and QR blocks are all aluminum. Hmmm!

We're sliding off topic here... but briefly, I think it is because the SR20DE is the same as the DET persay. There has also been much more data and positive results from the SR over the GA. It has been proven from Kojima that the GA motor can provide the power to the ground... it's just a matter of time to see what steps are taken.
