hey guys. i was just wondering if they made the groundable wire set for the b12 like they do for the ga and the sr20 motors. and if the bosch set actually makes a difference.
its me again. as far as i know i was told that the gap on the e16(not sure if its i or s model) was 44,000 using the keychain gapper. can anyone verify this>
I just changed my plugs and tried the Bosch Platinums (they misfired) bought the NGK's and they we're gapped correctly at .041 I have a carbed B12 1987 E16s and .041 is from Chilton's table of tuneup specs.
I knew a guy, [yes, a "cheapskate"] that made his own "split-fire" plugs, by taking a chisel, and splitting the tips of the grounding electrodes on his stock plugs. What a genius! I remember him saying "I ain't payin' seven bucks fer a split-fire plug! :bs:
AVERAGE, I wasn't talking about you. No need to apologize. Besides, you were right. the gap is .044".
