BCPR5ES

the PR in this part number stands for Platnum Resistor, and certian platnum plugs are gapped at .060 strange as it may seem

i think your plugs were gapped correctly, if your not putting a platnum plug back in, you may want to call autozone and ask them what the gap is.

hope this helps.

hey guys. i was just wondering if they made the groundable wire set for the b12 like they do for the ga and the sr20 motors. and if the bosch set actually makes a difference.

I just changed my plugs and tried the Bosch Platinums (they misfired) bought the NGK's and they we're gapped correctly at .041 I have a carbed B12 1987 E16s and .041 is from Chilton's table of tuneup specs.

I knew a guy, [yes, a "cheapskate"] that made his own "split-fire" plugs, by taking a chisel, and splitting the tips of the grounding electrodes on his stock plugs. What a genius! :D  :p I remember him saying "I ain't payin' seven bucks fer a split-fire plug! :bs:
