I just thought I would share this tip.

I read about using dryer sheets to remove love bugs a few years ago and have been using them on several cars since then.

Any brand will do. I use the cheap Kirkland (Costco) dryer sheets.

You just wet them and the paint before gently rubbing the bugs off. I'm not sure why it works so well, but it does.

It doesn't cause any damage to the paint at all. But be sure to test it somewhere not usually visible on your car first.

I've been doing it on a Toyota, Pontiac, Nissan and Ford with no problems.
