I have problems when with bitter cold weather starts, where I have to give it some gas or else the car just stalls as soon as I start it. It also sometimes makes like a cranking noise...someone suggested to find out if my car has a "cold start valve" and see about replacing it...what do you think?? They also suggested that it might have a vacuum leak caused by cracked rubber hoses...Let me know what you guys think..thnk you

Are you talking about a cold crank sensor? Not a crank sensor! If so there is one on the back of the motor about half way down, I had a 95 one time and I finally found someone who knew what I was talking about and fixed it and my car was doing the samething except it would'nt start after I drove it for awhile and sometimes on first startup, I would have to let it sit for a hour or so.
