What is the difference between a 95-96 alternator and a 97-99 one? They have different part numbers.
Anyway I got my replacement for a junkyard and the guy gave me the wrong one (probably just figured they're all the same) and I didn't notice until after I had installed it. The only problem I have noticed is that when the brake lights come on the headlights dim for a second, but that's the only thing. Could the wrong alternator cause the or do I have another electrical demon somewhere?
