Welcome to the forum!

Hopefully the engine hasn’t been started yet, or if so, the diesel fuel hasn’t stalled the engine yet. Then maybe it would be possible to drain the fuel tank, remove and flush the tank, and then blow out the fuel lines. But I might be wrong. I’m sure this problem has been addressed somewhere on the Internet.

I’m sure someone more knowledgeable than myself will be along.

It has not been started yet. Towed it home.

Hard to find info on a vehicle that is only 4 yrs old. Not sure where drains are.

Might try harbor freight. They probably have a drill attachment that you can put a hose on each end, to transfer the fuel to waiting five gallon cans or utility buckets (Home Depot). Then dropping the tank is a much easier proposition. A motorcycle jack would probably work to lower the tank.

Again, I’m a novice.

Don't use an electrical pump or you risk a fire. Siphon as much as you can and then pull the tank and clean it out as best as you can. Add fuel (gasoline) and see if she'll fire up. If it does then fill it up all the way with gas. At least you didn't put gas in a diesel.
