does anyone by chance know what the part number for the voltage regulator on the back of the instrument cluster of the 87 sentra is? i cant find it anywere.

not sure for your year but I called the dealer about the regulator for my 90 sentra and they told me it wasn't available seperately, going to call a different dealer and ask.

Just get a used dash
Or disasemble your damaged unit and repair it yourself, it's only a voltage regulator

velar is right, just take it apart and wire it so the dash lights are always on high (bypass the regulator). How often do you use that dimmer? Almost never...

its not for the dimmer but for a 5volt control that powers the temp/fuel guage ... if you got basic electronic knowledge do it... if not go for the oem replacement...

any way to cross reference the numbers on the OEM voltage regulator to a aftermarket, ( electronics) voltage regulator? I have a close up picture of the reg on my cluster
