your egr valve is right behind the throttle body. it looks like a ufo. there's a hose on the bottom and on the top. the bottom one usually cracks b/c of the heat coming off the back of the block. there's actually two, its the one to the rear of the engine bay.

What is the EGR for? what does EGR stand for?

EGR stands for "Exhaust Gas Recirculation." As for what it's for, I know it has something to do with emissions, but hopefully someone else can elaborate.

it reduces the temperature of the combustion by allowing exhaust gasses to return to the intake... either NOX or CO increases with higher combustion temps (can't remember).

Getting back to the subject of custom exhaust.

I'm snooping around for mandrel bends at Magnaflow's
site and I can't seem to find 2" pipes.

Anyone has part numbers for those?

What pipe sections would I need?

save your money do not buy pacesetter they are POO buy anything else I have posted it so many times go to ebay buy either OBX for the same price and u get a better header or save more money and buy HOTSHOT the best header on the market for the ga16de
