2004 Sentra 1.8. Was stalling while driving. Got code p0335. Replaced crankshaft position sensor and now it cranks but won't start.

It was such a pain getting it out, but the replacement went right in and was loose until bolted, is this normal? Currently at a loss and ready to tow it to the shop. Any help is appreciated

Did you replace it with a Nissan OEM sensor or an aftermarket sensor? Aftermarket electronic components may be cheaper but generally don't last long, may cause additional problems, and many times are DOA.

The new component should not have been loose; it should be a snug fit.
