I bought this car 2 months ago, since then it always ran great.

Today it wouldn't start. When I cranked the engine it didn't quite sound the same as before. I pulled all the plugs are did a compression check on all the cylinders.
70-80 psi on every cylinder. I put a squirt or two of oil in one cylinder and the psi went up to 90psi.

Does it sound like the timing chain jumped? If so does that mean my valves are bent also?

Thanks,

are you doing the compression check correctly, opening the throttle when cranking,
fresh charge on the battery ?
If you are then yes maybe.
I would have said this is rare on these engines but a few people have had problems in the last few months.
One reported 6 broken valves !!!
