Hey I'm about ready to change my upper ball joint on a 98 frontier. My haynes says to compress the shock absorber as much as possible... I'm wondering whats the best way to compress the shock absorber?

Put front on jack stands. use the jack to raise that side to compress the shock absorber.

could you explain a little bit more? should i put the jack on the lower link and compress it from there?

:balls:the upper ball joint is press on u might have to take to shop. but just put the jack under lower a arm so when u jack it up the arm would move.make sure u have a jack stand under the chassie.dont jack to high or the truck would come of the stand. i hope this helps i will check in 2morow PEACE OUT:balls:
