I'm not sure what is going on with my 5 speed se-r; it shakes like crazy while I either press or release the gas pedal on low rpm (1 - 2k rpm). I thought that it's fault of the motor mounts but they are fine.
What can cause this shaking??
Besides under 4000 rpm it shifts good (hard and strong), but when I'm racing and shift on high rpm it feels (and you can hear) like the tranny is slipping (just like automatic).
What causes that ??? (pressure plate, burn clutch ??)

you're positive the motor mounts are okay?
that's the only reason i can think it would shake as you described

is it just shaking?
or is the motor actually sputerring and surging?

as for the slipping, it just sounds like you need a new clutch disc and pressure plate

sounds like you have two problems, motor mounts & you need a new clutch. shaking and clutch slipping have nothing to do with eachother. unless your shaking is actually a skip/missfire i would say mounts are the only thing that would cause that. when was the last time u did a full tune up?
