My clutch pedal creaks too. I've changed the cable, (it was even stiffer before). I think B12s just have crappy clutches. I believe mine is OEM but the previous owner did change the original. The one that I have now is crap. It has been slipping forever, but never seems to get worse

Yeah I know I should atleast check to clutch to make sure it is OK but it's a bitch to do. And, no I don't have a springy clutch. My dad's is though. I really don't like it, it feels like it's kicking your foot, and makes it harder to modulate the clutch nicely.
