I've read all the posts regarding this issue, but after reading the Haynes manual, it seems that the blower motor resistor is only used for "manual" climate control units. I have a 93' GLE with an "automatic" or digital climate control unit. I removed the glove box to access the blower motor only to find out that no resistor is visible like the pictures show in the manual.

It sucks in the morning when its 20 degrees and pumps out freezing cold air until the car heats up. I've let this issue go on way too long. I hate getting raped by the dealers so if anyone out there has any advice for me I'd really appreciate it. Oh, and the same thing just happened to my 2002 Pathfinder the other day.
