Greetings, my girlfriend just purchased a Classic 3n1pb21s1pk004794, 1993.
I have the Nissan service manual for the '92 Sentra but it's for the B13. Can someone translate the VIN ? How can a '93 be older than a '92 ? I am living in Canada ....

You have a Mexican built unit. not sure of the whole vin, but the 3n1 is a Mexican plant import which may be common in Canada but not the U.S. Most of the U.S. cars are imported from Japan or Built in Tennessee until 1995.
They are diiferent and make sure you get the correct service manual.if I remember correctly the b12 was made in mexico until 1995. So it is a b12 and a 1993 but mexican built. Hope this helps.

in canada, the b12 sentra was continued to be sold as the sentra classic until 1993, with the e16i engine. an 1987 or 1988 manual, or a Sentra Classic manual would be appropriate.

the above post doesnt pertain to your issue.

Thanks guys, it clears up the confusion.
