From the B15 FSM:

"The MIL will go off after the vehicle is driven 3 times with no malfunction. The drive is counted only when the recorded driving pattern is met (as stored in the ECM). If another malfunction occurs while counting, the counter will reset."

The driving pattern requires a cold start and driving until the engine is warmed up.

Have patience.

i doesnt say i got it off ebay, and that reply isnt 100% accurate cause i drove the car more the 3 times and the light didnt come on until after i unpllugged the maf thing
The light came on because you unplugged the maf thing. It will take three driving cycles with it hooked back up to go out.

The reply was a direct quote from the factory service manual for your car.
