Hi there, new here..

Just bought a second hand x-trail 03 year, it has the single cd player at the top of the dash in the middle of the coolers and the 6 cd changer at the bottom of the console under the climate control.

I want to change both the stock CD player and the changer. Ideally i would like to have a reasonable DVD/mp3 head unit and i would like it to connect to a Cd/mp3 changer located in the same place as the original.

Is this possible?

If it is possible what model Cd changer? i have looked and can only see nakamichi as a possible solution.

There are guides to changing the stock radio/cd player but no guides as to how the cd changer can be replaced.
