Im new on this site..don't mind the screen name im not tryin insult nissan or anythin (they are some great cars) its just what i drive and i had to ask a few questions about a nissan motor so where else could i go other then some nissna forum. well ok here is the story. Im ukrainian (if someone doesnt kow its a country in easter europe bordin Russia, post USSR) ok so i moved to US about 4-5 years ago. so my uncle who still lives there drive a 1990 Nissan Vanette Largo, it's a mini van straight from Japan as him as well as my dad used to import alot of Japanese cars because both used to sail on ships and stoped by Japan alot and could get an affordable, reliable good ol' Japanese car. so anyway the van has the CA18DET in it...yes a van...anyways for some reason now he needs a stock ECU for the car. it is a manual tranny. i heard that '88 Nissan Pulsar NX SE has that same motor and the Nissan Bluebird, early Silvia and 200x had that motor but i dont know if the ECU from Pulsar would work? so i need some info on that maybe someone knows some websites or places to call where i could order on from. its kind of complicated for him to order it so i have to. also as mentioned above my dad used to import alot of cars from Japan he had some bad ass ones too..for example the R-32, not the GT-R version but it was still an R-32 (pure sex), also had Celica awd turbo, and VR-4 GTO (3000GT here.) umm yall can believe it or not i dont really care but what he is tryin to find out is how much and how long would it take to import a car here to US from Japan just in case anyone did or knows someone who did this or has some websites for that too..umm well thast pretty much it and sorry for a LONG post and i prbly will postin this in some other forums so yeah thanks for any help guys.
