Does any one know if there is a by-pass valve available for Hotshot CAI's...

for those who don't know, AEM CAI's have a by-pass valve avail. for like an extra 50 bucks and it bypasses sucking water into your engine in case the filter accidently gets submerged in water e.g. hitting a real deep puddle etc...

Please get back ASAP,
A concerned new HS CAI owner

AEM makes 3 different sizes of bypass.
2.5"...............*part #ABJ479507P
2.75".............*part #ABJ479508Y
3.0"...............*part #ABJ479509W

Im sure one of these will fit.

*part numbers out of JCWhitney Catalog

save your moohla

the bp valve isn't really needed unless you habitually drive through water that you could be swimming in. and if thats the case you'll cause other problems to the car besides hydrolock. just use some (un) common sense.
