I currently have a 97 klondike and i love it but its time to trade up.

im looking at a 2005 SE is there anything i should look for? The 97 i bought had the classic cracked manifold, these are the kinda things i need advice with on the 2005. any issues?

Just make sure you don't hear a high-pitched "whining" coming from the front of the engine, while it's running. When you give it gas, the "whining" gets louder! It will have worn camshaft tensioners, that will need replacing.
Make sure you get a very good Nissan extended warranty too! Good luck!

Update

I went and checked it out for the day and drove it around.

Didnt notice any over bearing noise problem, but i am in a 97 klondike so it doesnt bother me i guess.

its got 122000 and he is asking $16000 (canadian). I think its too much, any advice?

All aroundthe truck is very solid dont see any mechanical problems with it but...

It needs;

new rubber
Brakes are soft
lots of scratches and nics but no dents.
