I have an '87 Nissan Pulsar. My brake lights wont go off. I checked the fuse and it was fine. Any ideas where the brake light switch is? I need to get it fixed ASAP so help me with some ideas please. Thanks
switch should be on the brake pedal bracket somewhere. Look up under the dash and you should be able to see it. You can try unplugging the brake light switch, if the lights go out, probably your switch, if not, probably a short somewhere keeping them on.
I had this problem on my sentra, if it's not the switch itself there is a rubber plug that goes in a hole on the brake pedal lever that lines up with the switch, mine fell out one day and I had to grab the one out of the pulsar.
