My master cylinder was leaking so I replaced it. I cranked the engine and noticed when pumping the brakes smoke came from under the hood and out the tail pipe. It looked like a trash fire. I think the manifold vacuum line running to the brake booster is sucking some brake fluid that leaked into the booster. Sound right!

You hit it on the nose. Brake fluid burns with a dense, white smoke. Stinks too!
