Bolt head broke off

Hey,

When I was taking off one of the fenders, the bolts at the bottom (right next to the door, on the pinch weld) were so rusted that the heads broke right off. I was gonna drill them out, until I looked on the other side and saw the nut.

So my question is, how do I get the rest of the bolt out without damaging the thread inside the nut?

Don't know what kind of room you've got on the backside where the nut is, but if you can get vise grips on the other side turn it as if you were tightening the bolt. The rust on the back side of the bolt is probably what bound up the bolt coming back through the nut. Since there's no head any more, try to tighten back in all the way through the nut. You may be able to drill and tap a small screw in there too and as you tighten the screw, it may get the bolt turning (again in through the nut) and out the other side. It might work.
Trace the bolt and nut size. then say "screw the factory bolts" (pun intended). Drill out the rusted bolt and cut down the nut. replace with matching size bolt and nut from Home Depot or Lowe's. If it's where I think it is your best bet for a cutting tool might be a dremmel. If its even tighter then use a hack saw blade and lube the blade and nut with WD-40. If you don't feel up to this do what PTXer said.
