Hi folks. A newbie here. Introduction is where it belongs.
My son just put his mom's old 95 Sentra on the road after a 2 year hiatus with a trashed radiator and an alarm that wouldn't quit. We did new brakes, tires, radiator (pick-n-pay), fluids, ect. 40 miles into his first day with the car, the trans goes south. Even in nuetral, it goes forward. In park it puts forward pressure on the wheels. No reverse. O/D lugs the car down badly.
So, its safe to say its new trans time. What are my interchange realities? Can trannys from other other chassis fit like maybe a 92- 99 Sentra, a NX1600, maybe an Altima from whatever years?
Thanks for any useful info.

BTTT. The Hollander info asumes total interchangalbility as in no speedo conversions or whatever. There are no sentra or 200sx autos in the local yards, so this is getting to be a long time w/o parts. Thanks for any knowlegable info.
