Okay so I know I am a hypochondriac about my car, but I was driving last night and I pressed down the accelerator hard and the car began to rev for a split second but then I pulled my foot off the gas because the car in front of me hit the brakes, is this bad for the AT? I just had the fluid flushed yesterday as well, and I felt it was running real smooth after leaving my mechanics', I was just curious if engaging the engine and tranny and then pulling off all within a second is bad for the car. I still feel my fastest acceleration from a stand still as opposed to when I am rolling at 30-50 mph and then slam the gas, my friends tell me I just have gotten used to the car, but I feel when the car was newer it would pin me in the seat more when I would accelerate at all speeds, is this just what happens to older sports cars?
