hey i live in northern new york own 2002 se-r auto, its cold out here latley. Anytime my car sits for a long period of time like overnight and i go to drive it if i dont let it warm up and take off it will go through all gears but not overdrive then when the car warms up(like heatgauge wise) it then shifts into 4th and then has no problem rest of day. Is this supposed to happen just got car 3 weeks ago has 33,000 miless on it.thanx

There is a trans fluid temperature sensor. The trans computer locks out overdrive until the fluid warms up.
