Now THIS car is awesome. Need to see it in person to appreciate the awesome lines on it. Took these pics outside my work today:

Story on the car from Motor Trend, 1991:
Five cylinders, 20 valves, and turbocharging producing 217 horsepower in a vehicle able to consume a quarter mile of pavement in 15.7 seconds and reach 60 mph in 7.7 seconds.  Does this sound like a high-performance sports car or a plywood-hauling station wagon?
If you're having trouble, here's another hunk of info, but maybe it won't help:  This machine's all-wheel drive system, all-independant suspension, and the sport-oriented rubber it wears produces 0.85 g on the lateral acceleration scale, which is comparable to the Porsche 928 GT.  And it attacked the 600-foot slalom, turning in a 64.4-mph mark, which beats the nimble front-wheel drive Mitsubishi Eclipse.
Well, your time is up, and we'll have to admit it was a trick question.  The answer is yes, the '91 200 Quattro Wagon is a performance sports car and a station wagon.

The sedan looks much better IMHO. With those performance figures, it's like an old-skool WRX.
