Hi all

Our family needs a utility of a minivan however like many people Dont want a mini for a ton of reasons.

As of right now we drive a Acura MDX and with a new baby on the way we need room for to comfortiably fit 6 people 3 W/ car seats.

We stumbeled upon th Armada and I have a cuple of questions about it.

1) What are the main differences between the Armada & the QX56 (Infiniti) besides price

2) What type of gas milliage should we expect we live in a Washington DC so a good mix between city & highway

3) Is the price and lack of good gas milliage worth it to get this SUV or stick w/ the honda odyssey.

thx -ScratchBC

The Infinity QX56 has some more sound insulation and some cosmetic differences, but other than that they're the same. Same powertrain all around.

After the initial break-in period we're consistently getting 14.5-17 depending on how much city driving we do.

As for whether it's worth it, I guess that depends on your needs. The Armada has tons of room and power which was great for us as I tow a heavy cargo trailer and have a small family. If you don't need to tow and don't need so much room, obviously the Odyssey is the more economical choice. Personally I liked the styling of the Armada a lot, and the power train is the bomb. Most of the 1st year quality issues were worked out with the 2005 models, so I'd say the Armada is a winner.
