Hey it sounds like your water heater is going out. Didn't I negotiate you a 1 year warr on your house? and it hasn't been over a year yet has it? If not call the warr company. Call me, if need be I have some other ideas.darrick said:1 where is CT?
2 long story my breaker keeps poping its the one for the hot water heater ,but it I guess its hooked to a few things in my kicthen aswell cause my fridge, vent a hood and 3 other sockets are out aswell , the hotwater heater has been acting funny and poping the little reset on the hotwater heater for a long time we have been hitting the reset button every few days but now I fear the reset not piping and mabe thats what is throwing the breaker but hell I dont know i need a pro who can come out and check it out.
I agree with t56, there should be NOTHING at all on the same circuit as the water heater, especially anything that is 220volt. refridge and hood are both 110, water heater is generally 220volts. Good luckt56gen3 said:Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Most likely the thermosat is bad, or the water heater needs to be replaced due to age and sediment build up. If it heats up, gets hot, then pops the CB, then odds are it's overheating. I doubt (though it's possible) that it was wired on the same circuit as anything else; unless one of the previous owners did his own wiring. I don't think any electrician would have done that.
So, what was it? and How did you get it fixed?darrick said:got it fixed thaks guys
