Another KR15DDT failure and tear down

Only had 2 engines to work with. He even says having 2 engines is not a good data point to form an opinion on.

Not defending Nissan but also don’t know the entire history of the driver prior to blowing the engine. Negligence from some 1st or other owner comes to mind

I like his videos and very detailed breakdown (see what I did there?) on what he does!

Yeah, totally agree that 2 engines isn't much in terms of sample size. That said, I find watching these videos interesting/informative to a certain degree, so wanted to share that with the forum.

For what it's worth, I'm religious about changing the oil in my KR15DDT. I use Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-20 and change the oil every 5k miles. I've also been sending samples to Blackstone every oil change so I have a better understanding of what's going on internally. So far, so good.
