hello guys

hope to have some sort of guidance here, I have a 2019 nissan sentra that have been working pretty good, no major issues, but out of the blue, the ambient temperature sensor started to show -40F no matter what weather we have, and ramdonly works fine, I thought it was the sensor, I bought one online and replace but it's still with the same issue. I disconnect the battery but still the same, the dash does not show any codes, neither engine fault is on, with this failure, I can't have the AC working properly.

is there any way to reset/fix the issue?

Check the harness upstream from the sensor. The sensor is located someplace behind the grille on everything Nissan, so it's necessarily exposed to road debris. When they read "maximum cold" and a new sensor doesn't fix it, it means the circuit is open, usually from a cut or bruised wire.
