Went to install a kenwood cd player in my gf's car (it was free). Brand new in the box, installed it only to discover it wont play cds. Screen says mechanical error. What a waste of a day! Anyway, noticed the antenna plug is not the standard barrel/single pin thingy. This one is some kind of weird 2 prong plug. Anyone have any idea where I could get an adapter for it? I've never seen this kind of plug b4. Can I just hack the oem plug and solder the typical jack to it? Also, does anyone know if this car has an amp built into it? I saw something that looked suspiciously like an amp hanging out behind the oem hu. Advice appreciated, thanx.
