I need to change this belt on my sentra classic.

Looks like this car has 3 belts - the one I'm specifically looking at is the alternator/waterpump/crank belt.

I swear I got to remove other betlts to get to it! grrrr.

I need to know the dimensions of the belt because NAPA gave me the wrong belt (don't get me started on the whole sentra, sentra classic parts fiasco!)

thanks!

so ask for the right one make sure u include all parts touching the belt beacuse those parts store counter people are normally dumb and just pick any belt. If u have the old one measure it and give them the length aswell that should really close up the gap for error

Thats just it, I'm not in the US. Its the classic sentra available in Canada from 91-94.

However, what I think I'll do is tell them its for an 88 sentra. I'll try that, (even though what I initially told them was this specific model/gen was sold in the US until 1990, I was off by 2 years ;) ) That should work and get me the right belt for sure.

ive got the same problem with my 92 sentra classic... parts people are retarded when it comes to this car. I went looking for a cap and rotor and the one they had listed for my car was totally wrong. Anyways, just go in and ask for the part of an 88 sentra with whatever motor you have. I always make note to mention the engine code because most of the time it will make a difference.

Yes, some dumbass mistakes the ga16de and E16i in most part store in Canada ... always make sure it is listed for Classic Sentra 91-93 w/ E16 engine ... or ask the 87 part !! lol had the 93 engine and yes it is the same pcs as the older 87-88
