Aftermarket lock on fuel door

1. Can anyone recommend a security lock for the round fuel door cover for my gas ?? I hate tapping it all the time and I want to be able to lock it to prevent fuel theft where I live...
2..what type of metal is the round door that coveres the gas cap???
