The struts on my max are completely shot. I am replacing the spec struts with toxico hp struts. My ? is how do I know if the springs need to replaced? I will save myself alot of money if I buy the struts and springs together. However, I don't want to spend the money if I don't have to.

There's very rarely any need to replace the springs unless they're obviously damaged/sagging (coils touching).
